Glass coated plates
Hydrophobic compounds? Get it glass coated.
A silicon dioxide coating gives every well a glass contact surface, so hydrophobic compounds touch glass, not plastic. Available across our plate formats.

Greiner 384 Square Well, 120uL/Well, Polypropylene, Flat Bottom, w/ Glass Coating, 10/Case
384-well polypropylene plates for compound storage, screening libraries and high-density sample handling. Well volumes run from 55 µL low-volume plates up to 400 µL deep well plates, with square wells and pyramid-bottom or flat-bottom profiles. Pyramid bottoms concentrate small volumes at the center of the well for low dead volume and reliable aspiration.
Polypropylene is chemically resistant to DMSO and most solvents and stable in freezer storage, which makes it the usual choice for compound management. A glass-coated version is available for compounds that bind to plastic. Every plate uses the standard SBS/ANSI footprint for automated liquid handlers and plate stackers.
Seal them with ArctiSeal sealing mats or sealing films. For optical assays, see 384-well assay plates.
