Hydrophobic compounds? Get it glass coated.
A silicon dioxide coating gives every well a glass contact surface, so hydrophobic compounds touch glass, not plastic. Available across our plate formats.
Solid 96-well polystyrene assay plates with 350 µL wells for fluorescence and luminescence detection. White plates reflect light to maximize signal in luminescence assays such as reporter-gene and ATP assays. Black plates absorb stray light to cut background and well-to-well crosstalk in fluorescence assays. Black plates with white wells combine low crosstalk with high signal.
The plates are opaque top to bottom, so they suit top-reading plate readers. For imaging or bottom reads, choose a clear-bottom assay plate instead. All plates use the standard SBS/ANSI footprint for readers, washers and liquid handlers.
