Glass coated plates
Hydrophobic compounds? Get it glass coated.
A silicon dioxide coating gives every well a glass contact surface, so hydrophobic compounds touch glass, not plastic. Available across our plate formats.
48-well deep well plates in polypropylene for larger-volume sample prep, cell and bacterial culture, and storage. Choose square wells at 4.8 mL or rectangular wells at 5.0 mL or 7.5 mL per well, all with pyramid bottoms that funnel liquid to the center for complete recovery by pipette or liquid handler.
The plates use the standard SBS/ANSI footprint, so they fit automated platforms, plate shakers and centrifuge carriers designed for microplates. Polypropylene resists most solvents and holds up in cold storage.
